Go big!

A successful space plays on scale as one of the many success's!  I say play with size!  A small room can hold a large statement piece!  Don't be scared!  Playing against the rules will make a memorable room!

We suggest small collections!

Small collections bring huge impact!  Group them together or scatter them around a space!  Wall brackets, shelving, cabinets, or table tops can all be enhanced and made beautiful with a collection of a common theme! This collection will proudly anchor a corner cabinet with high style!

A suggestion!

When needing to freshen up a bathroom but not wanting to totally redecorate, I suggest this...think SPA!  Nothing freshens up a tired bath more than changing a few items!  I suggest white towels, white bath mattes, and a white shower curtain!  Just playing down these items can create a spa like space!  A white container with an orchid is fabulous too!  Crisp and clean and EASY!

Use a mix! Use it all!

We believe a successful space is not defined by one look or style!  Marry rough with refined!  Here we have paired A fabulous Antique carpet with rough plank tables, Empire chairs, baskets, porcelain, and garden items!  Mix it all!

Lighting!

Use a variety of lighting around your home!  From the largest overhead fixture to the smallest lamps placed around for a warm glow!  Here we have used small contemporary lamps to bring a glow to this living room.  Scatter them around.  Low lighting can really set the tone.

Use vintage!

We love this vintage carpet found recently at auction and used on a home that is filled with color!  The teals and Navy and cream was already represented beautifully, and now the orange grounds the space!  Love it!

Indulge baby!

Use those treasured items to tablescape!  We love mixing items such as silver, China, seashell, roses, fern from the yard and a variety of other gathered items!   Decorate and indulge!

Why is shopping local best?

Face it, we live in a time of online, and as convenient as it sounds, it's not always the best.

For example, many items online are not cheaper and most of times are of less quality.

Online stores do not promote local growth...how can a town survive without small business.

Shopping local helps the community..when merchants make money, they then can promote and assist with causes.  Merchants have the ability to donate financially.

It makes a town special and unique..big boxes are everywhere, go for something different!

These are a few reasons why.  Shop local, dine local, be local!  Come see us and check it out!

Layer those belongings!

We love layering accessories the same way one layers clothing!  Don't be afraid to gather the refined with the more relaxed!  Here we have layered dried boxwood, Asian vases, simple seashell obelisk, and a Moroccan charger!  Go for it!
